Calling all Electrical Design Engineers*

Are you ready to electrify your engineering career?

Our client, a leading manufacturer of shot blasting, spray wash, and ultrasonic wash systems, is seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join their innovative team as Electrical Design Engineer.

About the job:

As Electrical Design Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in defining and developing electrical design solutions for our clients diverse product range. From shot blasting systems to ultrasonic wash systems, your expertise will shape the future of their products.

Main Tasks:

* Provide electrical design input for machine builds as required.

* Produce electrical schematic drawings using SolidWorks Electrical 2D.

* Structure and compile Bills of Materials (BOM) within our ERP system.

* Ensure thorough inspection of system designs and drawings before release.

* Provide feedback and rectify engineering drawings and BOM errors.

* Adhere to customer User Requirement Specifications (URS).

About you:

* Proficiency in electrical design software - preferably SolidWorks Electrical 2D, or a willingness to learn.

* Experience in a manufacturing environment with strong controls and system integration knowledge.

* Familiarity with Siemens and Mitsubishi PLC control systems for electrical design requirements.

* Degree in electrical engineering or HND (or equivalent) with relevant work experience.

* Knowledgeable in electrical design within a machine build environment.

* Previous experience in producing multilevel bills of materials (BOMs).

* Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels from shop floor to senior management.

PLC programming capabilities would be Highley advantageous, as would an understanding of ISO 13849 control system functional safety calculations and risk assessments, with previous experience being highly desirable.
