Job Title Resident Engineer

My Client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Resident Engineer to join the team based on-site, at one of their clients large Campuses located in south Cambridge, to deliver multi skilled services for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive and minor life cycle works across our clients site.

About The Role

* The primary focus of this role will be to conduct planned preventative, Multi-disciplined maintenance and reactive works to the buildings plant, equipment, and systems, as well as respond to site engineering emergencies on behalf of our clients.

* Having the relevant qualifications and experience for your discipline however, what is most important to us is your effective communication skills which always enable delivery of prominent levels of customer service.

* Proven ability to effectively multi-task, work to tight deadlines and work in a team to problem solve on the job; whilst always promoting health & safety excellence.

Key Accountabilities

* Record all reactive and PPM tasks accurately and in detail using report sheets and ensure signed by the client weekly.

* Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks conducted to provide safe working practices.

* Supervise subcontractors effectively.

* Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures.

Education

* Relevant Electrical Engineering Certifications from a recognised institution.

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Desirable)

* Building Maintenance Experience
