I purchased the flat 3 years ago and have loved making it my home. The two balconies really add space to the lounge and kitchen, giving it a light and airy feel. As the flat is west facing, you benefit from getting the sun all afternoon, perfect for making use of the balconies after work! The bedroom is spacious, easily fitting in my queen-size bed and furniture.
It is in a quiet location, I rarely hear the neighbouring flats, which is great when working from home. We have a WhatsApp group for everyone living in the block, which is helpful for neighbourly advice, giving a real community feel.
Shinfield Meadows is a great location as it is set back from main roads, but is still really close to the M4, Reading town centre and train station, with the Elizabeth Line taking you straight into central London. Closer to home, I love having the Co-op, Robyn’s Nest, Waitrose Foodhall in Dobbies, and The Shinfield Arms, all a short walk away.
