Realise Education are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in Middlesbrough and surrounding areas.

The school are looking for friendly, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants who can support their pupils who have complex needs. You will be working potentially 1:1 and in small groups.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, successful applicants will hold a number of responsibilities.

* Assessing individual learning needs and working in a group

* Preparing materials, equipment and lessons

* Assessing and reporting on individual pupils' progress

* Liaising with parents, carers and professionals such as mainstream teachers, education welfare officers, social workers and Healthcare professionals

* Working alongside and advising learning support assistants

The ideal candidate will have:

* NVQ Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

* Experience of working with children or young people who have SEND, specially Autism

* A confident manner and will be able to adapt well to different situations

* A genuine passion for working with SEND
