We are looking for an Operations Support to join the Nuclear Threat Reduction (NTR) team.

Salary: £21,460 - £26,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

What will you be responsible for?
Provide practical and logistical support to specific operational capability management and validation tasks, including:
Coordination and training of NTR operational responders
Procurement, configuration and through life management of operational equipment and other assets.
Planning and delivering exercises and associated validation activities
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and reporting lessons learned and capability gaps
Servicing and maintenance of operational response instruments and other activities to ensure the response capability is effective and efficient
Ideally, we are looking for the successful candidate to demonstrate some of the following criteria:
Good, clear communication skills, both written and oral, and able to exchange information in a clear and concise manner
Good IT skills and experience of utilising Microsoft Office tools
Organisational skills; capable of multi-tasking, identifying and managing priorities to meet challenging time scales
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Promoting high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality
High attention to detail and organisation
Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role
