Role: Energy Department Manager

Location: Brighton ( 1 OR 2 days a week in the Brighton office) - Hybrid

Salary: £60 000 - £75 000/ annum + Bonus + Share Options

Timely Recruit is recruiting for an Energy Procurement and Bill Validation Department Manager to work for a leading and fast growing Consultancy.

Job Description:

Flex energy trader and Fixed energy procurement specialist, whilst being a hands-on trader, will manage, motivate and mentor a growing procurement and bill validation team of nine. The role is client facing, requiring ongoing management of strong client relationship and supporting the sales team on new bids and upsells.

As the Energy Procurement Department Manager, you will be responsible to

* Managing and motivating the procurement and bill validation team

* Developing and mentoring the Team

* Holding key client relationships

* Managing supplier relationships

* Flex Procurement strategies and trading

* Fixed Energy procurement

* Tender analysis

* Market analysis and communication

* Compliance reporting management such as SECR and ESOS

* Portfolio / data management

Experience and Attributes:

* A head for numbers.

* Energy Procurement

* Experience of working for another Energy Broker.

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

* Flex and Flexible procurement is very important.

* Managing Client relationships

* Tendering Fixed and Flex Contracts

* Gas and Power/ Electricity Procurement experience.

* Management/procurement of baskets
