Role:Trainee Water Engineer
Location: Clevedon
Essential: Ability to work as required for stay away work
Salary: £21,650.00 = £10.41 per hour based on a 40 hour week + Overtime @ X1.5

My client is a large and highly respected utilities contractor is looking for Trainee Water Engineer to work on their waste water contracts.

The nature of the role will be working in crews of 3 to install and maintain survey equipment across the UK Waste Water network.
Role Duties

·Installation of survey equipment into water pipelines (involving entry into Confined Spaces)
·Calibrating equipment to ensure it is working correctly and picking up data
·Adherence to Health and Safety guidelines for yourself and others whilst overseeing colleagues installing the equipment
·Communicating politely and positively with customers and the general public whilst on site.

Successful candidates will be expected to work away on occasion, the role will mainly involve local work ,but could involve working in places like the North West, South Wales and South East. Accommodation and food will be provided if you are away. Please ensure you are fully happy with this before you apply.
All hotels and meal allowances are paid for up front so in theory you should not need to spend anything while you're away.
This role could anyone who is happy working in a hands on capacity, has a drives license and is comfortable doing stay away work.

Full Drivers' licenses are essential for this position. Please do not apply if you do not have one.

The pay rate will be (£10.41) per hour for the first 40 hours. Anything above this in the week will be paid at 1.5 time (£15.61). There are plenty of opportunities for optional overtime.
Initially you will be employed on a 6 month agency contract, however this is very much long term work and so permanent jobs will be offered for good performers with a view for progression to crew leader further down the line.
