Grounds and Property Maintenance Assistant
We are looking for a well-rounded, flexible and versatile grounds and property maintenance individual to join our team based at Tanshire Park, Elstead, reporting to the Estate Manager.
The park comprises of 3 multi-let office buildings occupied by approximately 24 tenants within 3.5 acres of tree-lined grounds with extensive car parking. There is a large on-site cafe facility with outdoor seating as well.
You will be responsible for carrying out and overseeing a range of duties in the buildings and the grounds to ensure that the tenants enjoy a well-managed office experience. So your ability to work on your own and as part of a team is essential and being able to prioritise tasks and using your initiative when required.
You will be responsible for:
Managing and checking the maintenance regime for all equipment within the building i.e. fire alarms, air conditioning, security systems, CCTV etc
Overseeing all contractors attending site including daily cleaners to ensure standards are adhered to consistently
Undertaking regular grounds maintenance - grass cutting, hedge cutting, pruning, weeding, fence repairs, ground clearance, brook clearing and other labouring works as required
Keeping areas clean and tidy by leaf blowing as required
Proactively undertaking minor decorations e.g preparation and repainting of common areas where required
Keyholder and involved in the maintaining of up to date Health and Safety and other property documentation
In addition:
You must have your own transport; parking is provided
All equipment and uniform required is provided
Your working week is Monday-Friday, 8 hours daily, 8.00am-4pm with breaks.
