Our client is one of the UK's leading innovation funding specialists, helping companies of all sizes, in all sectors, fund their innovative ideas through government tax incentives, grants and subsidies. To facilitate the continued levels of growth this business has enjoyed in recent years we are looking to add to their Internal Sales Team based in Edinburgh.
The role is Internally Based in their magnificent City Centre Office (Short walk from Haymarket Rail Station) although with some home-based work due to current Covid restrictions. The concept of the role is to use the excellent data provided and call decision makers to understand if we can support them to receive significant tax rebates on their innovation costs or find other ways to fund their innovation. The task of the Internal Sales Executive is simply to establish a need with the client and make an appointment for a Business Development Manager to meet with them.
The role requires the ability to work with data, understand fairly quickly the basic tasks that different businesses perform and to contact them skillfully and professionally in order to secure the meeting. The outstanding levels of training provided ensure that you are competent, confident and able to have a meaningful conversation with clients. We of course need resilient candidates for this Sales role, however the setup could not be better to give you every chance of success, based on the performance of the existing team.
We are looking to hear from candidates who have some level of direct sales experience. Of particular interest would be experience gathered from Contact Centre (Outbound), Internal (Phone-based) Sales, Canvassing, Field Sales, Agency Recruitment or Telemarketing. All candidates will be asked to complete psychometric testing at Interview Stage.

On offer is a basic salary of £21,000 a year, a fantastic bonus structure with an achievable OTE of £26,200 although this is uncapped with other team members making much more than this OTE figure.
