Job Description: Junior/Trainee Costs Draftsman
Full time, Permanent
Monday to Friday
£25,000-£35,000 DOE

We are looking for multiple candidates who have experience drafting bills to support the Costs department within a well established law firm based in Liverpool!

The suitable candidate must have the following:

Minimum of 1 years experience of Cost Drafting experience
Highly organised
Excellent communication skills both writen and oral

Main duties and responsibilities:-

To prepare bill of costs for detailed assessment
To prepare cost claims for submission to opposing solicitor and the Courts
To undertake negotiations
To prepare Statement of Costs for summary assessment
To prepare and costs budgets
To liaise and advise with fee earners and support staff in relation to any costs related query
Undertaking other duties reasonably required by partners or senior management
Desired Skills:-

Experience in drafting bills of costs for Housing Disrepair and Japanese Knotweed Claims
