A vacancy has arisen to lead our busy Computer Science Department and the successful candidate will join a small but enthusiastic Department. Situated in two classrooms and an office area, the Department benefits from being housed within the energetic and well-resourced Science Faculty.
Our network team is physically located within the Department, offering strong support. Students work from their own devices giving them the freedom to install any software they choose. Teachers in the Department are provided with Surface Pro 7 laptops to carry out their work. Students and staff have access to the Office 365 suite.
IT is playing an ever-integral role in school life at Fettes and the Department aims to support the students and wider school with this. Microsoft Teams and OneNote are used extensively within the Department.
