Here we have a very attractive little 1970 MGB GT, Finished in White with Black Interior. She is a manual car riding on Wire Wheels. She is showing 20k Miles on the clock but we have very little history with the car. She was declared an insurance write off over 14 years but was declared suitable for repair after a technical evaluation. She was then totally restored into the condition you find today, which is very nice indeed!

Conceived in the late 1950s and launched in 1962, the MGB was mechanically similar to the preceding MGA, though with unitary-construction bodyshell. To compensate for the newcomer’s increased weight, the existing B-Series engine was stretched to 1,798cc, and the MGB’s aerodynamically efficient lines made the most of the 95bhp available to achieve a top speed which just bested the magic ‘ton’. A ‘right first time’ design that changed little over the years apart from the adoption of a more robust five-main-bearing engine in 1965 (fitted from the start of GT production that autumn) a minor facelift for 1970 and the adoption of plastic bumpers (to comply with US legislation) for 1975, the MGB enjoyed an eighteen-year production life and sales totalling in excess of 500,000 cars.

Our car received a comprehensive restoration over 10 years ago and is still looking great today, the interior showing minimal wear and the body straight and in lovely condition. Mechanically, these cars are bulletproof and this is no exception, she drives great! I've always thought these are beautiful little classics and they are a pleasure to drive and suitable for daily use! This little is priced well to account for the repairs over 14 years ago! She is ready for her next custodian!
