We are currently looking for a Senior Events Manager to join an international organisation to lead on the delivery of corporate events. As Senior Events Manager you’ll be responsible for managing 2 events coordinators responsible for the delivery of both domestic and international events.

Key duties:
• Working with the Director to create and deliver a cost-effective events’ strategy to generate significant income for the charity
• Delivery of a broad range of engagement and fundraising events to engage with target audiences including, corporates, major donors and individuals.
• Assessing events portfolio to ensure strong ROI
• Making sure event governance and compliance is in
• Delivery of board level events to attract corporate support and industry partnering.
• Working to promote individuals on delivering in kind events.
• Supervising events coordinators in events logistics and managing venues and suppliers.
• Cross collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Set and managing complex budgets.

Skills and experience required:
• Solid background in Event management including fundraising.
• Experienced in large scale and complex events – ideally with some global experience and VIP / Royal attendance.
• Confident to project manage the delivery of multiple events simultaneously
• Knowledge and practical experience of marketing events in a business context
• Budget management – making sure expenditure is kept in line and maximizing ROI
• Excellent networking, influencing and negotiation skills
• First class communication skills – both written and verbal
• Engaging and supportive management
• Good knowledge of managing events in compliance with health and safety requirements and other risk assessments
• Driven and self-starter mentality
• Excellent relationship building skills and able to work collaboratively with different departments and stakeholders
• Innovative thinker
• Strong work ethic
• Empathetic, supportive and understanding with good self-awareness
