Interim Policy, Public Affairs and Advocacy Manager - NGO/Charity Experience Required

£200 - £300 day rate

Temporary 2 - 3 Months

Urgent requirement for someone to start immediately within a Public Affairs team. Due to the urgent need to cover this role, we require someone that can start as soon as possible and can cover for at least the next 3-4 weeks.

The right candidate will need to have good parliamentary advocacy experience and to understand what is needed in the run-up to an election.

Tasks that need covering are detailed below:

Deliver direct advocacy to Prospective Parliamentary Candidates using the organisations 'manifesto’ where appropriate.
Provide analysis of election result, prepare 'welcome / introduction to the charity’ materials for new Government and incoming ministers.
Prepare advocacy asks and messaging for next government, including 'first 100 days in government.’
Map out immediate actions required re. APPG.
Provide main advocacy and election point of contact for the organisation, responding to organisational queries, including updates for commercial partners where needed.
