Working for a global professional membership body, the Head of Employer Relationships will be driving the development and delivery of the organisaitons employer partners engagement and employer strategy. You will primarily focus on managing and developing relationships with employers, and potential employers of students and members.
Key responsibilities include developing and sharing employer insight, increasing awareness and demand for products and services and building reputation amongst leading employers.
The role will include the operational management and delivery of the organisaitons accreditation programme within a community of 100+ accredited employers who are committed to developing the skills and talents of their employees.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop relationships with employer partners
- Develop and share employer insight to ensure that that all engagement and offerings are in-tune with employers needs and add value
- Identify opportunities to deepen relationships with partner employers, including the enhancement and development of services for employers
- Develop key account management capabilities, processes and systems to efficiently build and manage employer relationships
- Oversee the development of messaging and promotion of products and services, via ongoing collaboration with communications, marketing and other service providers
- Raise awareness of how the organisaiton works with employers with colleagues and volunteers, to build knowledge, build a professional network and increase interest in partnering
- Contribute to new product development by means of providing employer insight and feedback; work with colleagues throughout the process in order to have oversight of progress and provide further input as required to bring the project to fruition
- Visit leading employers to nurture key relationships.

Experience required:
- Sales, marketing and business development skills (in an “employer” context advantageous)
- Key account management
- Project management
- Cross-cultural awareness
- Commercial awareness
- Networking and facilitation; to include the delivery of workshops and training sessions as appropriate.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
