TSR are recruiting for an Architectural Technician for their client, a 5* housebuilder.
Joining the Technical team, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the technical function, coordinating all design information between external consultants and internal departments and overseeing the technical aspects of the project from site feasibility stage through to completion.
Responsibilities include:
* Securing planning permission for architectural design and regulation approval
* Attending site visits and meetings to solve technical problems
* Attending design meetings to ascertain requirements for new developments
* Liaising with external consultants to ensure deadlines are met
* Checking all architectural drawings for accuracy
* Procure sketch layouts and design solutions
* Procure working drawing packages
* Complete and approve building regulations and CFSH applications
* Assist the commercial departments with cost plans
You must also be experienced in the residential market and have a full understanding of the NHBC build process. You must be able to use AutoCAD and Revit.
