Job Tittle: Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £50k - £60k depending on experience
Location: Teesside
Hours: Office Hours, Monday to Friday

INDUSTRO Engineering Group is forward-thinking and dynamic group of companies operating out of its strategically located offices and workshop facilities in Teesside. Working both locally and nationally, we support some of the most significant infrastructure projects in the UK with our core engineering disciplines businesses - Design, Civil/Construction, Structural Steelwork & Electrical.

Given the group's current growth, we are looking to appoint a senior Quantity Surveyor to support commercial control ensuring commercial targets and risks are both managed and achieved.

Role:

- Procurement, subcontract management inclusive of administration of the contracts

- Weekly assessment of work, variations and payment recommendation in line with Sub-contract conditions

- External and intercompany valuations

- Timely submissions in accordance with Contract requirements to maximise profit, along with financial reporting

- Weekly reporting of accurate cost value reconciliations and forecasting

- Identifying risks and proposing recommendations to overcome

- Contract reviews

- Promptly and fully address all contractual matters to protect the Companys position

- Develop collaborative working relationships with Clients, Supply Chain and internal Teams

Requirements:

- Degree qualified - BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying or equivalent

- Proven experience working at similar level / role for a developer and/or main contractor

- Excellent construction / technical skills

- Capability to embrace change, create ideas that add value

- Excellent communication skills

- Good interpersonal skills and a team ethos

- Energetic, enthusiastic and passionate
