Job Description:
Job Duties:
Providing support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons and activities
Helping students with personal care needs, if required
Encouraging student participation and engagement in learning activities
Required Qualifications:
GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths.
Relevant experience working with individuals with learning difficulties or disabilities
Education:
Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting
Experience:
Demonstrated experience working with students with special educational needs
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of the needs of students with learning difficulties or disabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
First Aid certification
Welsh language- preferred but not essential
Working Conditions:
Temporary position with Full-Time hours- 08.30-15.30 Monday- Friday
Work within an educational environment
Potential involvement in personal care tasks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
