Hours: Monday Thursday 07.30-16.30 & Friday 07.00-12.00
Our client is looking to recruit a Sales Administrator. As part of the internal sales team, the Sales Administrator will provide administrative and sales support to customers, the Commercial Director and the Sales Team. You will be proactive, resilient and have excellent communication skills with a customer focused mindset. You should be able to demonstrate enthusiasm and resilience, maintain a positive can-do approach and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
Providing product and administrative support to customers and the Construction and Environmental Sales Team.
Effectively handle and record incoming telephone and email enquiries, saving all direct communication on the CRM system.
Create and check costings and provide quotes to customers.
Telephone customers to advise of price changes and resubmit quotations.
Proactively develop existing customer relationships as well as identifying and forming new relationships with prospective customers and generating new business leads.
Customer relationship management telephone activities of own allocation of customers and direct any face-to-face sales activities needed to the sales team.
Process and send out appropriate information and samples.
Track and monitor progress of all leads.
Develop a full knowledge of the products the business offer and their customers needs.
Receiving any customer queries and feedback, taking responsibility for action and resolution.
Liaising with internal departments throughout the group to ensure operational efficiency i.e. order processing, sales queries, accounts queries.
Providing a high level of customer service, support and liaison to maximise business development opportunity at all times.
Attending when required technical training or sales conferences at principals (international and domestic).
Produce timely and comprehensive sales reports/monthly reports as directed.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes to ensure a professional and consistent company image is upheld.
About you:
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to maintain effective relationships
Strong administration experience
Confident telephone manner & communication skills verbal and written
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office applications, particularly excel and outlook
Financially minded with the ability to interpret costing and margin information
Experience using CRM systems
Achievement focussed and driven to deliver
Self-motivated & proactive with fantastic organisational skills
Confident in dealing with a variety of different situations and people
Sales experience beneficial but not essential
