Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
• Works with the Senior Partner Marketing Manager and Head of Brand & Public Engagement and colleagues in the team to develop Partner marketing activities across all forms of Partner marketing reaching consumers, shoppers, supporters and staff. Keeps the organisation engaged in the plan and well informed and ensures the marketing plan is evolving and being updated over time.
• Manages budgets: monitoring, recording and reporting commercial KPIs
• Works with the Senior Creative Services Manager over the production and delivery of all of the Foundation’s partner marketing and commercial material, ensuring these are effective and delivered on brand
• Works with the Engagement Manager – Commercial Partners to provide updates and news on specific accounts which could help to inform the B2B comms strategy and be shared as part of B2B comms where relevant.
• Works with the Digital Engagement Manager and Digital Supporter and Donor Marketing Assistant to bring Partner marketing activity and initiatives to the attention of supporters and to gain buy-in and action where relevant.
• Attends meetings with key accounts alongside account managers as a marketing expert to help build and foster commercial partner relationships
• Works collaboratively with internal and external international stakeholders across the global organisation system to ensure commercial and programme marketing activities have maximum impact, ensuring harmonisation of marketing activities and use of shared marketing assets.
• Works collaboratively to support the Growth agenda with marketing scoping and activation for new business needs.
Potential for occasional volunteer management.
Essential:
• Degree level qualification or comparable by experience.
• Formal marketing training and qualification or equivalent level of knowledge gained through experience.
• Experience of creating integrated B2B2C and B2C marketing campaigns, across digital, event, print and social media channels
• Experience of partnering with businesses, marketing through them to reach the end consumer / shopper with mutually beneficial marketing programmes
• Experience in developing consumer and commercial propositions and communications
• A track record of creating compelling and effective communications.
Demonstrated experience of leading & co-ordinating internal and external partners and stakeholders in successful delivery of projects or promotions (project management skills)
• Broad digital experience, covering website creation, social networking and creation of successful online communications programmes
• Strong leadership skills including the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders in the successful delivery of projects
• Demonstrable experience of both strategic campaign planning and project delivery, with a track record of delivering innovative content on time, within budget
• Line management experience
Essentia Knowledge:
• Good working knowledge of MS Office programmes (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• An understanding of the role of consumer and shopper marketing in creating a strong B2B2C proposition
• An understanding of shopper / consumer insights and behaviours in relation to retail and fmcg brands (E)
• A knowledge of digital marketing initiatives used by fmcg and OoH brands and retailers including e-commerce, apps
• An innovative and strategic thinker
• Emotional intelligence coupled with resilience in order to make the right decisions, argue persuasively, follow through decisively and deliver in a timely manner
• Excellent relationship building skills at all levels of the organisation, including senior management
