My client is looking to appoint a Quantity surveyor for this required for this multi-phase residential scheme with a refurbishment of a listed building in to 244 apartments alongside side new build 3 story town houses and associated info structure on this 3 acre site in the Portsmouth area .
This is for a well-established Residential construction company currently in the process of many projects in the Private housing sector around the Hampshire area. With developments ranging between 18 million -50 million
the scheme is site-based dealing with a Senior Qs with some procurement experience, as well as experience in Refurbishments and change of use schemes as well as new build development or high spec residential; would be great for this role.
the project comprises of 244 one- three-bedroom apartments and a number of new build apartment blocks and towns houses over the next 5 years .
Reporting to the MQS for the project and working with the project team you will be well versed in the and enjoy both live schemes and fast environment to assist the commercial team to hand this project over successfully.
Ideally candidates will be degree qualified or HNC/ONC have experience with lager logistically challenging schemes previously in excess of £10 million with substantial logistics and housing info structure packages due to the size of the project's footprint
Candidates must have worked for a UK main contractor on housing projects previously and be able to display a hands-on approach to commercial management of schemes on a design and build basis in the past.
demonstrating a high level of computer literacy and technical construction knowledge This role will suit someone who is hands on and is locally based to Portsmouth as the project could exceed 5 years in total
