Teachers UK are currently recruiting a large number of Cover Supervisors to work in Secondary Schools in Retford and the surrounding local areas.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classes in the event of the teacher being absent and ensuring that all students are engaged and on task.

Other duties as a Cover Supervisor include:

* Deliver pre-planned work across a range of subjects to pupils in KS3/KS4

* Make sure classrooms are kept tidy

* Managing classroom behaviour effectively

* Report any potential safeguarding concerns

* Covering a variety of different subjects

The successful candidates will:

* Have a passion to work with young people

* Excellent communication skills

* Be able to work well as part of a team but also individually

* Have strong behaviour management skills

As a Cover Supervisor, the typical school hours are 8:30-15:30 and any variance to this will be confirmed by your consultant prior to your assignment.
