Role Overview:
Seeking a highly qualified and motivated Technical Condition Assessment Manager to join our dynamic shoreside management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the operational reliability and safety of our fleet through comprehensive condition assessments and data-driven decision-making. This role demands exceptional leadership and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Condition Assessment Management:
1. Develop and execute comprehensive condition assessment programs for the fleet.
2. Analyze and interpret data from various technical assessments to identify maintenance needs and recommend solutions.
3. Ensure the timely and accurate reporting of equipment and vessel condition to inform maintenance planning.
4. Collaborate with the maintenance team to establish maintenance priorities.
Stakeholder Management:
1. Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including shipboard personnel, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
2. Engage in effective communication and consultation to align condition assessment efforts with company goals.
General Management:
1. Lead a team of technical experts and assessors in the execution of condition assessment programs.
2. Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and project management related to condition assessments.
3. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of condition assessment processes.
Requirements:
1. Leadership experience in technical seagoing roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of maritime operations.
2. Proficiency in data analysis to make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
3. Possession of an engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
4. Certification as a BINDT Vibration Analyst CAT II, BINDT Thermographer CAT II, and BINDT Lubrication Management CAT I.
5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
7. The ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
