We have a brilliant opportunity to join our experienced, supportive and impactful People Team at SYHA. We focus on helping our people do their best work so that we in turn have a positive impact on the customers and communities SYHA support.
Our hybrid working roles are truly flexible, including your working hours we ask that you spend part of your working week in our head office or other workspaces connecting and working with your colleagues. The role report directly to the Head of People.
The role:
Provide a wide range of high-quality support to a portfolio of diverse services within SYHA in our LiveWell based services. LiveWell provides care support to vulnerable customers.
Work in line with our philosophy which is to equip, coach and mentor our managers to help make great people decisions
Work closely with people at every level in our business, this will include Directors and senior leaders, front line managers and our employees in a wide range of roles. It will also include our OD Team and other People Partners.
Advise, support and carry a caseload of a wide range of HR and ER activities including complex case management, TUPE, redundancy and restructure.
Work in partnership with your portfolio to embed recent developments in our approach to wellbeing, EDI and hybrid working.
Coach and support recruiting managers to ensure we bring excellent people into our business
Take a lead on key project(s) within our People Plan
Development and review of policies, procedure and best practice
The ideal candidate:
CIPD qualified or working towards qualification
Passionate about providing brilliant customer service
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
Good understanding of employment law and its application
Strong working knowledge of legislative, policy and professional issues

Working hours 37 per week
