Interim Financial Controller

£65,000-£75,000 + Bonus + Benefits (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)

FJR Group is partnering with a £100 million manufacturing/engineering group to hire an Interim Financial Controller during a period of transition. You must have recent experience in manufacturing/engineering and managing organisational change.

Responsibilities

- Oversee financial reporting for the group

- Produce monthly consolidated accounts

- Manage cash flow, forecasting, and FX

- Lead general ledger, accounts payable, credit control teams

- Liaise with auditors on statutory accounts

- Improve finance processes and develop team capabilities

- Manage budgets, planning, regulatory reporting

Requirements

- Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA (ideally ACA)

- ERP systems experience

- Excellent Excel modelling skills

- Strong analytical abilities

- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

- Proven project management skills

You will report to the CFO and lead a 10-person finance team. This is a hybrid role with 3 days/week on-site in Manchester and 2 days remote.
