Personal Advisor - Leaving care team - £17.76 p/hr

A Local Authority based in the Midlands is seeking to appoint a Personal Advisor in their Children's services to help provide support to the Social Worker's in their Leaving care team.

This is an excellent opportunity for those that are looking to gain valuable statutory experience within a children's social work team and pursue a career within Social Work.

This is especially significant for those who are aspiring to become Social Workers as the successful applicant will have the opportunity to take on a substantial position with the authority should you perform well for the duration of the assignment.

Responsibilities:

* This is a locum post which offers the opportunity to develop statutory experience as well as the opportunity to take on a permanent post in the future.
* The service helps support children and their families where there maybe a concern relating to the safety of the children/young person.

As a Personal advisor within the team you will have get regular reflective supervisions and will be well supported by the Social Worker and the Team Manager.

To be considered for this post you should have experience of working with children and families and be a car driver with access to a car.
