About the Candidate

Preferably HNC/ HND/ BSc degree qualified Quantity Surveyor or equivalent
Familiar with site visits and client facing activity
Excellent analytical skills are essential, as are numeracy, literacy, and communication skills in English
Computer literacy in MS Office, ProjectAbout the Role

Working with the Commercial Manager to ensure successful delivery of projects
Undertaking costing analysis, take-offs, and procurement schedules
Monthly reporting
Applications for payment
Identifying and negotiating variations
Material requisitions to the Buying department
Attend meetings with clients and colleagues
Approve Sub-Contractor valuations
Final Account agreementsPoints of Appeal

Structured role within a close and friendly team with prospects of progression to a more senior position in the companys commercial division
Continual training and development made a priority
