About the Senior Human Resources Advisor role:
Reporting into the Senior HR Manager for UK & Ireland, you will be responsible for the implementation of HR strategies for the customer service and sales functions in order to contribute to achievement of the overall organisational business objectives. A true Business Partner, you will be commercially astute and accustomed to managing a varied stakeholder group with previous experience of working with sales and customer service profiles.
This position will be responsible for teams based in our Leicester and Manchester offices. The role will be based in Leicester with the expectation to travel to Manchester 1-2 times per month to visit our stakeholders there.
Your responsibilities as our Senior Human Resources Advisor will include:
Building strong stakeholder relationships coaching and advising on people matters
Using MI data and reports to provide insights to your stakeholders and identify interventions for people-development, engagement and increased productivity
Educating and developing the management population in the area of people practices
Supporting the Talent Review & Succession Planning process for your functional area
Managing recruitment for your stakeholder group supported by HR Shared Services and market leading advertising platforms for direct sourcing
Building relationships with external parties including Occupational Health providers, specialist recruitment agencies and HR community peers
Identifying opportunities to develop your knowledge in your functional area both in the business and in HR
Supporting with occasional restructuring and organisational design activities, driving business leaders on right-sizing their teams and following correct employment law guidance related to such activities
Using the Oracle HCM system to document people activity and run reports for the organisation
What were looking for in our Senior Human Resources Advisor:
Essential:
CIPD Level 5 qualified with a minimum of 2 years generalist HR experience
Previous experience of providing HR support in a call centre and or field/ internal sales environment
Excellent knowledge of current employment law
Fanatical about providing an excellent service to stakeholders, with a true passion for business partnering
Attention to detail with strong analytical skills
Good working knowledge of MS packages including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Superior organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise
Previous experience of restructuring processes from a HR operational perspective
Previous experience in recruitment as part of a HR position or as a specialist role historically
Fluent written and verbal English skills
Adaptable, with the ability to manage casework, implement projects and develop people managers
