Working within a large, well-established manufacturing environment, this business is looking to train and develop enthusiastic, eager individuals who are looking to further their career within the FMCG industry

As a technician, you will focus on providing technical support to the Shift Supervisor to ensure planned / unplanned work is carriedout effectively, efficiently and to the Company and Customer standards at all times

Responsibilities:

* Report all machine faults if they cannot be cured or are affecting production

* Ensure the machines are running correctly and safely at all times in accordance to the Blow mould programme.

* Ensure machine is clear from previous top/tail waste before commencing new production run.

* Ensure blow down procedure is followed correctly on PVC machines as to relevant work instruction.

* Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with current legislation and company procedures, particularly but not exclusively in regard to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment Management

Requirements:

* Understanding of Mechanical principles

* Manufacturing/Mechanical experience (preferred but not essential)

* Team player

* Actively looking to develop and progress
