An established heating and ventilation company requires a HVAC engineer to cover the Midlands area.
Duties:
* Visiting clients and ensuring that the day-to-day planned preventative maintenance activities of building heating and ventilation equipment is completed in line with the company's contractual obligations.
* Ensuring all equipment is maintained in accordance with the O&M manuals and industry standard requirements.
* Assisting in supervising contractors and sub-contractors.
* Closing out reactive calls within contractual time scales.
* Be on-call as required.
* Van, phone, fuel card and tools will be provided by the company.
Requirements:
* Time served apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ qualification in HVAC.
* Minimum 5 years of providing service and maintenance on HVAC systems in a commercial environment.
* NVQ or City & Guilds in the following: Electrical engineer or equivalent
* 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
* City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection.
* Able to work at height.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Standard DBS check/clearance required.
Hours:
* 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
* Occasionally on-call out of hours.
