We are looking for a qualified nurse to join our residential team in Cardiff. Lewis Martin Court is a residential care home in Cardiff made up of three self-contained five-bedroom bungalows. It has a nursing provision for disabled young adults with complex care needs, as well as a respite provision for short breaks. The home provides a high level of support to enable the individuals we support to meet their personal goals and future aspirations.
As part of our nursing team youll be putting together health care plans, Protocols, risk assessments and liaising with the multi-disciplinary team from the health authority and other outside agencies who support that individual. Youll be administering medications, carrying out other nursing procedures and providing psychological support.

Responsibilities:
·To assist the Lead Nurse with the organisation of the Nursing Team.
·To provide skilled nursing care and undertake clinical procedures as required. For example, catheterisation, naso-gastric tubes, oxygen therapy and suction, management of PEG and tracheostomy.
·To ensure safe and effective practice by adhering to statutory guidance for practice requirements and standards.
·To ensure the promotion of evidence-based practice by reviewing and monitoring standards of care in line with local and national guidance.
