Our client requires a Logistics Manager / Crane Supervisor for a busy construction site in York, for a period of at least 6 months, starting by the end of March 2024. We are looking for an experienced Logistic Manager, ideally with their SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS card, who is knowledgeable and well considered to work on a busy construction site, able to produce and manage lifting plans.

This is a critical role, requiring continuous communication with the site team, suppliers and deliveries: including coordination of the Traffic Marshal on the ground, the Slinger/Banksman working with the crane/deliveries, through to the whole site management team, sub-contractors and suppliers, coordinating the daily schedule for deliveries to site, with safety at the forefront for any planning, so we need an assertive, competent, well organised, methodical individual for this role with excellent communication skills.
