An attractive 50 bedded Nursing Home between Polegate and Hailsham is looking for a Senior Care Assistant on Nights to join their team. This is an independently run home that specialises in elderly and dementia care and their CQC report is rated 'GOOD' in all areas.
Our client strives to deliver the highest standards of care within their home and are seeking strong Senior Care Assistants with previous care experience to join their dedicated care team.

This is a beautiful Home set in an attractive location specialising in elderly and dementia care. The service is focused on providing a person-centred approach to caring for people, with an emphasis on dignity, choice and independence.
The home is a part of an independently run care company with great opportunities for progression and a strong history supporting their staff to realise their full potential. After 6 months' probation the company offers their employees access to their private top NHS Health scheme.

Shifts: 8pm to 8am
*
Pay: £9.85 per hour with a weekend enhancement
*
Paid breaks (Equivalent to £10.85 per hour with unpaid breaks)
*
Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week, alternate weekends
There is free, on-site parking and the home is located a 25 minute walk or a 5 minute bus journey from Polegate train station.
Senior Care Assistant Duties:
*To Supervise and participate in the delivery of care to residents
*To provide leadership and support to the care staff
*Responsible for the administration of medication
*Help to run the shift alongside the Nurses
As a senior care assistant you will be expected to lead by example at all times and provide strong leadership skills to the rest of the care assistants. You should have a strong work ethic and embody your care homes attitude towards delivering the highest standards of care.
Requirements:
*Previous experience within a nursing/residential home
*Previous experience as a Senior HCA
*NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care
Willingness to gain medication certificate if not already received
