Our Client a leading player in the railway industry, renowned for our commitment to excellence and innovation. Currently, they are embarking on a flagship railway project in Oxford, London and Birmingham that involves comprehensive upgrades to civils, track, railway systems, and electrification. We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Health and Safety Manager to ensure the safety and well-being of all involved while contributing to the success of this monumental endeavour.

The Role:
As the Health and Safety Manager, you will take on a pivotal role in maintaining a culture of safety excellence throughout the project. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing, implementing, and continuously improving safety policies and procedures to align with industry standards and best practices.
Conducting thorough risk assessments and proposing effective measures to prevent accidents and incidents.
Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to embed safety into every aspect of the project.
Overseeing safety compliance during upgrades to civils, track, railway systems, and electrification.
Leading incident investigations and providing actionable recommendations for corrective actions.
Playing a critical role in internal and external audits, demonstrating our commitment to ISO 45001 standards.
Mentoring and coaching team members to promote a safety-first mindset.Qualifications:

Minimum NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction certification.
Desired NEBOSH Diploma, NVQ, or equivalent in Health and Safety.
Proven experience in internal and external auditing for ISO 45001 standards.What We're Looking For:
