Abatec is looking to recruit an experienced freelance Site Engineer to join our client - a leading, tier 1, regional civil engineering contractor. Our client is working on a major, multi-million-pound highway scheme, which involves dualling A-roads.

The successful candidate will have experience working on previous highway schemes, as well as earthworks, drainage, RC structures, and surfacing knowledge.

As Site Engineer you will:

* Use a robotic total station to provide levelling and surveying across site.

* Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations.

* Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary.

Our client requires a Site Engineer with:

* Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations.

* A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.

* Excellent communication skills.

* HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.

* Understanding of AutoCAD

Salary and benefits include:

* £300 - £350 LTD
