Position Overview: Aquinas Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Teachers to work in secondary schools throughout Shropshire. As a Cover Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning by delivering pre-prepared lessons during the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Key Responsibilities:

* Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

* Managing classroom behavior and ensuring a positive learning environment.

* Following school policies and procedures to uphold standards of teaching and learning.

* Providing feedback to the regular classroom teacher on student progress and behavior.

* Collaborating with colleagues and school staff to support the overall educational experience for students.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

* Experience working with secondary school-aged students preferred.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and follow lesson plans effectively.

* Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

* Flexibility and availability to work on short notice.
