Hi, I am 14-year-old young man looking for Support Workers - I dont mind what your age, gender or orientation is, but I would prefer someone enthusiastic that can think outside of the box to keep me busy and safe.
You should have a great sense of humour, are kind, honest and happy to support me in getting out and about and completing my therapies. I need support with my personal care and all aspects of daily living, I use a wheelchair to get around and I have my own wheelchair accessible van, I love to go for drives and go out on trips. I enjoy being outdoors for walks, whatever the weather. I like all things sensory so you must be creative, I like books being read to me, being part of the chat and swimming. I live with my family who are very important to me.

Duties, hours and pay for the Support Workers:
You will work on shift assisting with personal care, social and leisure activities and rehabilitation activities.
There are 2 part-time Support Workers roles available - one for 24 hours per week, and one for 16 hours per week. Shifts include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends (plus annual leave/sickness cover available).
The salary for this role is £13.00 per hour.
Key skills, knowledge and experience:
* Previous experience of working in the Health sector.
* A valid driving licence and own car is essential.
* You should preferably be trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or have equivalent experience e.g. completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree course).
