Our Client offers Engineering, Design and specialist Consultancy Services across the complex infrastructure, process and built environments. As a Sustainable Engineering and Design Consultancy they offer integrated solutions for customers across the energy, life sciences, manufacturing, public, transport and utility services sectors.
The companies M&E offering forms part of a strong multi-disciplinary design function, for which the Birmingham office acts as a focal point for the UK. The birmingham office is looking to attract a talented Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for a 6 - 12 month contract, within a highly professional Consulting Engineering environment.
Applications are invited from Design Engineers who are capable of working on a wide variety or schemes which will include education, commercial, health care, residential, mixed-use and industrial. It is hoped all interested parties will hold relevant industry recognised qualifications and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of heating, ventilation and air conditioning design. To compliment your mechanical knowledge it would also be hoped that applicants hold a basic understanding of electrical design and systems.
The role will provide Engineers an opportunity to work on a challenging and enjoyable portfolio of work, with the added responsibility of direct interaction with a diverse customer base. With this in mind clear communication, a confident demeanour and the ability to successfully achieve deadlines are all highly desirable characteristics.
The business uses standard industry software, it would be expected that Engineers looking to take up a design role with this company would be fully conversant
