Empowering Learning Ltd are recruiting for a Qualified PE Teacher to join a Secondary School on a long-term basis in Derbyshire!

This is a full-time position to start as soon as possible and will continue till the end of the school year.

For your application to be successful, you must be a hardworking and reliable individual, who can work great within a team! You must have excellent knowledge of teaching methods and lesson designs, brilliant communication skills and a real passion for the subject you are teaching!

As a PE Teacher you will have excellent subject knowledge and a true understanding of the national curriculum. You will adhere to the schools teaching standards and will ensure that students work together in partnership with the class teacher.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

Plan engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Collaborate with colleagues to adapt teaching methods
Motivate students through creative teaching
Maintain a safe learning environment
Communicate with parents and track student progressQualifications & Requirements:

Undergraduate Education Degree
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Successful applicants will be invited to interview and will be expected to complete the necessary registration documents and will adhere to all policies and procedures. Furthermore, successful applicants will be expected to have an Enhanced DBS either on the Update Service or willing to apply for a new DBS
