SW Locums are looking for a focused and UK Experienced, Social Work Team Manager holding Social Work England Registration to work in the Adult Learning Disability Team in Cardiff.

Hours will be Monday- Friday, 37 hours a week, will be required to work 2 days in the office, the rest can be done remotely.

Minimum Requirements:

* Diploma in Social Work or equivalent.

* Minimum of fours years post qualifying experience in adult social work setting.

* Good level of experience of work with adults with Learning Disabilities.

* Experience of staff supervision.

* Ability to lead and motive a team.

* Ability to organise self and others in order to prioritise work and achieve targets.

* Able to demonstrate self motivation and an ability to work on own initiate with minimal supervision within agreed parameters.

* Ability to demonstrate awareness/ understanding of equal opportunities.

* Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health and safety. Able to apply it effectively to both staff and service users.

* Comprehensive understanding of all legislation, technical mattes and standards of practice relevant to area of work.

* Understanding of, and the ability to work within, policies and procedures relating to Adult/Child safeguarding.

* Understanding of the importance of the management of information in the monitoring, planning and review of services.

* Must possess a full driving licence and the use of a car.
