SW Locums are looking for a qualified social worker or senior social worker with previous UK experience within Children & Families, Children in Care.

Caseload will be predominately working with CIC 0-18 working with children and young people placed in foster care, residential, considering reunification to parents and family members.

You will be required to attend meetings, complete CIC review paperwork, care plans and PWPs, completing assessments, carry out statutory visits in and outside of the Cambridgeshire area.

Candidates need to be competent in all areas of the Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF) at Experienced Social Worker level and The Knowledge and Skills Statement (KSS) for approved child and family practitioners.

Interviews are being undertaken via MS Teams.

The team is working flexibly and face to face visits continue to be undertaken but remote working is available.

You will need to ensure full compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Council's Health and Safety Policy and all locally agreed safe methods of work and to fully understand and be aware of the commitment to the duty under Section 17 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 to prevent crime and disorder.
