Backline Logistics are currently looking for HGV Class 1/Category C+E Tramper drivers for our client in Plymouth. This role entails collection and delivery of liquid waste. Usual working hours are Monday-Friday with start times ranging between 04:00am and 08:00am route dependent, tramping across the UK in a sleeper cab. Minimum 9 hours pay per day. The ideal candidate will have had previous experience of vacuum tanker driving and at least one year of class 1 experience . ADR and dockyard clearance are preferred but not essential. Temp to perm opportunities are available for the right candidate.
THE REQUIREMENTS
* You must hold a full UK Class 1 / Category C+E Licence with a maximum of 6penalty points.
* You must have had previous HGV Vaccum Tanker experience.
* ADR and/or Dockyard clearance are prefered but not essential.
* You must hold a current and valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
* Possess a broad knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
* Be clean and professional at all times.
* Possess good written and spoken communication skills.
* Positive Attitude.
* Able to work in a fast paced environment.
* Health & Safety conscious.
* Physically fit as heavy lifting will be required.
