Account Manager (Hybrid, 1 day a week in the office)
Arden White Engineering Recruitment are currently working with a well-known company in the engineering industry that is currently seeking to recruit an Account Manager.
Position Overview: Account Manager
Job Purpose: Align with the company's mission and values, optimise sales development, manage customer portfolios, increase market shares and profitability, create commercial value, and meet or exceed annual sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop high-level business relationships with key stakeholders in target industries, including general management, procurement, quality assurance, and technical management.
* Strategically manage and grow our customer portfolio in alignment with company and regional objectives.
* Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities.
* Proactively communicate market insights and recommendations to the management team.
* Drive revenue growth by promoting innovative solutions and value-added services such as regulatory consulting and laboratory services.
* Develop and execute sales budgets, forecasts, and action plans to achieve or surpass annual targets.
* Provide regular sales trend analysis and market updates to internal stakeholders.
* Collaborate effectively with internal teams to address customer needs and ensure seamless execution of projects.
* Actively participate in local and regional management meetings and cross-functional workgroups.
* Lead the negotiation and implementation of commercial and technical contracts.
* Maintain accurate customer files and collaborated with quality assurance and finance teams to address claims and payment issues.
Desirable Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
* Proven track record of success in business development and account management roles, preferably in the sterilization or healthcare / medical industry
* Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, with the ability to analyse market trends and develop strategic plans accordingly
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders at all levels
* Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for driving results
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Package of Account Manager:
* Salary £52,000- £60,000
* Company Car
* Pension scheme
* Company sick pay after probation
* Based near Chesterfield, with the need for office-based work 1 day a week
*Must meet and maintain airport security requirements.
