An account manager will be responsible for the coordination & induction of client sales accounts. The following will be part of a wide contact centre for distribution & logistics specialists within the import & export industry. The role will be fully responsible for end-to-end sales cycle processing, business development, prospecting, lead generation, client onboarding, product up selling & servicing.

The client we represent is a well-known entity in the delivery & logistics industry. Providing fulfilment & parcel distribution services for business & personal needs, the client operates on a national scale & is looking to upscale their operations into this year.

Description

Key responsibilities will consist of:

Being at the forefront of product insight and client induction duties
Building consistent rapport & relationships with new & existing clients
Cold calling & building new relationships
Expanding existing market knowledge & insights into the company's product range
Cultivate product & service delivery satisfaction
Be the main point of contact for complaints, customer service & ongoing queries
Work cross-discipline with several other department including field sales, customer service & telesales
Work towards strong drive KPI's & SLA's
Forecast and responsibly build business development pipeline
Engage cross board with all aspects of customer service deliveryProfile

A successful account manager should have:

A strong motivation for sales.
Proven experience in direct sales or account management prior.
Business orientated and independent.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Prior experience in a relative field of logistics or delivery.
A customer-focused approach.
Proficiency in using database software.
Ability to work well in fast-paced high-volume environment.
Ability to work well in a team.
