The Role
As the successful Principal Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Applying your project leadership skills to develop regulated products.
Bringing your hand-on-electronics technical experience to technically lead and steer projects.
Taking products with safety-critical features through the development cycle to verification, regulatory testing, and manufacture transfer.
Supporting with technical problem-solving and contribute to some development work, such as system design or technical reviews.
Running large programmes and manage timelines, budgets, and client relationships.
Focusing on real-time and near real-time sensing devices, specifically around helping patients diagnose, understand, and manage their conditions in areas such as diabetes, orthopaedics and cardiology using wearable and implantable devices.
You
As the successful Principal Electronics Engineer, you will have:
A technical background in electronics or systems engineering, covering sensor interfaces, analogue electronics, microcontroller systems, low-power design, and miniaturisation.
Experience of end-to-end product development in a regulated environment, such as medical or aerospace.
A track record of achievement and academic excellence to thrive in this role.
Evidence of project management for complex multidisciplinary products
