Seeking a well organised and self-motivated person interested in working in the recycling and environmental sustainability industry. This role is responsible for leading the Production Department to efficiently manufacture budgeted amount of products while meeting safety, environmental, and quality objectives. Working in Long Marston, the successful candidate will work under the supervision of a knowledgeable and supportive Site Manager.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
* Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas
* Develop and maintain a technically advanced and safety conscious team
* Manage the plant's Production function
* Ensure that the plant produces the required quantity of quality material
* Direct the effective and efficient use of plant production equipment and people
* Planning, annual budgeting and monthly forecasting, reporting of department's effectiveness
* Inventory tracking of incoming and outgoing material
* Assist plant management in anticipating future needs of the plant
* Maintains product quality to meet customer expectations
* Meet or exceed production volumes budget
* Production costs equal or below budget
* Equipment performance and reliability exceeds budget
* Highly motivated and effective workforce

* Perform such other duties as the Company may from time to time reasonably require

Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent in relevant field i.e. science, engineering
* Extensive experience in relevant industry

* Excellent understanding of industrial equipment and processes, especially material handling
* Mechanical and electrical aptitude
* Good basic finance skills and business acumen
