T2M are currently working alongside one of the UKs leading niche HVAC providers to help them to recruit an exciting new role as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.

As their Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you would have overall responsibility for the design and estimation of a number of large and exciting industrial building services projects.

Key Responsibilities as their Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

* Take the lead on the design and estimation of projects.

* Oversee and check the designs and estimates throughout the team.

* Help with gathering initial project requirements and specifications issuing technical queries to clients as and when required.

* Help with the preparation of tenders and cost estimates.

* Complete & review Design Hazard and Risk assessments for installations.

* Help to prepare project programme of works and attend project commencement and review meetings.

Requirements to be successful as a Senior Mechanical Design Experience

* Over 10 years Mechanical Design experience.

* Experience of designing HVAC systems is essential (industrial HVAC systems knowledge would be desirable).

* An understanding of NEC contracts or the construction industry desirable.

* An excellent communicator to both colleagues and clients.

* High organisational skills with an excellent attention for detail.

This is an exciting opportunity, based from the companies headquarters in Bromsgrove, offering the successful candidate more than just a design position, providing involvement throughout the full project lifecycle, from initial scope and specification through to working closely with the projects teams during delivery.

This position will provide the opportunity to grow alongside the business, and our client has initially budgeted up to £60,000 depending on experience for the role.
