Job Specification
You'll be based in their head office contacting potential customers by telephone and email with site visits if requested by the customer.
Your main priorities are to; persuade new customers to buy our company's mailroom equipment and services, arrange demonstrations and trials, and to make appointments to visit, review and assess their requirements.
You will also be required to carry out market research on competitors, suppliers and manufacturers.
Your working day will normally be spent on the telephone making and receiving calls, during each phone call you're likely to:
* Research and contact prospective clients
* Follow up on all incoming leads and enquiries from new customers
* Describe the product benefits and any special offers
* Give advice about how these may benefit customers personally
* Persuade customers to accept a trial period or a visit from an account manager
* Gather and document information about the customer
* Enter your notes into our salesforce CRM, including dates for follow up calls
* Send personalised quotes and brochures by email or post
* Take orders and arrange for delivery and invoices to be sent
* Produce regular updates on activity rates and success levels
* Presentthe company in an accurate and positive manner at all times
