I bought this Golf about 3 years ago to use as a daily driver.

This past year my sister has been using it as her daily but has now got a new job that comes with a company car so we sadly have to sell it – no point it sitting about on the drive not getting used! That said we're not in a rush to get rid of it - it's a fond family member and will be missed

It has a valid MOT until 18th October 2024.

As far as I can tell the car is pretty much original and not been messed with. Only non-original things I can see are the radio, for some reason the rocker cover has been painted red.

The car has done just over 50k miles, must be one of the lowest mileage mk2s around and from what I can see from the MOT history it is genuine.

The paint could be better – it has been spray painted in a few areas but seems generally pretty sound. As far as I can tell the colour (cosmic blue) is quite rare? Please see photos for condition of the car.

Note that we did have some other wheels on it while it was used as a daily but they have been removed and now the car is on VW steel wheels that we got with the car. The tyres hold air but are pretty shot and would need replacing before driving any distance.

There is a Weber carb fitted with manual choke and the car starts and runs without any issue.

Good parts:

· Low mileage
· Power steering
· Vented front brake discs
· Original interior
· Twin headlights
· Tinted glass with reg etched
· Original dealer plates
· 5 previous owners and V5 in my name
· Does not leak water inside
· One key for ignition and doors

Bad parts:

· Paint a bit iffy in places due to being spray painted
· Some dents and dings around
Gear handle a bit wobbly but works fine and all gears select

Car is located in Leeds LS27 and viewings are welcome. Winner could insure / tax it and drive it away – although I would really recommend some wheels / new tyres if you wanted to do that. Alternatively it would drive onto a loader if you wanted it transporting and I’m happy to deal with third party couriers like shiply etc if needed.

Not looking for any part ex or low offers so please don’t waste your or my time. I'm not a trader and car comes with no warranty or returns. Car is also listed on eBay.
