Due to retirement, I have a truly exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking and innovative Customer Services & Logistics Manager to join a global life science manufacturing organisation in Wrexham. Going from strength to strength, this organisation is continuously growing and seeking a motivated and meticulous customer service & supply chain professional to join them!
Your new role
Managing a well-established Customer Service function and supporting with the Logistics management, you will be responsible for a team of 13 across customer service, purchasing and despatch with team leader support across each department available. Your role will be heavily involved in the improvement of processes between the customer service and despatch function to ensure fluidity and expert coordinated control. You will be working collaboratively cross departmentally to establish procedures to optimise inventory levels and stock management of both 'off the shelf' and bespoke products in a high-volume environment. Passionate about people, you will be responsible for the development of your team and equally hands on to support with peaks in demand. This is not an exhaustive list and further information can be given on enquiry of the role.
What you\'ll need to succeed
Your confident and influential demeanour coupled with your leadership experience in a similar role within a manufacturing business will set you up for success in this role! You will be a system expert and naturally champion processes improvements; experience with Syspro is advantageous, but this level of experience within any ERP will be considered. You will have a thorough understanding of the product cycle, managing raw materials, managing customer satisfaction and the execution of the customer order process from enquiry to contract and delivery. Six Sigma (or similar) training is desired but not essential. You will be looking for a new, exciting opportunity with a thriving manufacturing business that offers growth potential.
What you\'ll get in return
As well as a respectable salary of £55,000 - £60,000 dependant on relevant experience, you will receive free onsite parking, up to 7% contributory pension scheme, plus a generous holiday entitlement of 25 days + bank holidays with the option to buy additional holiday! There is also a discretionary bonus scheme reviewed annually. Your hours will be Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm for your 36.25 hour working week.
